Soy-fisticated candles
Autumn. The perfect season to end a year before venturing into the next one.. even though its only technically Autumn until the 21st of December, but we'll forget about that one. From what I can see its the season where people begin to get festive, whether that be over Halloween or even the Christmas holidays. You know who you are, those people that get their Christmas lights out when its not even past October yet.. p.s I'm not judging. But from pumpkins to fairy lights, people start to change up their lifestyle and light a whole lot of candles. And that is where the point of today's post comes from. Candles.
The place of stodgy burgers
Hey all, I am finally back with a foodie blog review and I couldn't be more excited! This time its Felsons cocktail lounge and stick hall on Corn street, Bristol. I was offered the kind gift of a meal and drinks for myself and a +1, so without question I dragged my boyfriend along but of course with a private room, the Chelsea football match on tv, a pool table and a meal.. He couldn't even try and complain right?
Accessories, taking you from season to season
We've all been there and done that with getting so over excited with one season that we end up spending 90% of our money on clothing and accessorising, seemingly forgetting about the other three seasons in the year. You're suddenly left with the realisation that your brand new white converse won't last through the winter, and your doc martens will not be the perfect suit for a summer holiday. But that's where accessories come in, you know those wonderful things that you can put on that instantly change any outfit to suit the weather. And a watch, is the most perfect one you may find.
Beauty in the Buzzy bee holiday schedule | EE Jewellery
Ah holidays, don't you wish that they were more than a once or twice a year thing (well unless you have a hell of a lot of money, or a travel blogger.. one day, one day) But in all of the heat you can often find yourself repeating the outfits that are comfier and the lack of make up can become somewhat boring. but that's where I really find that Jewellery can help, something so small can be such a life saver on the aesthetically pleasing photo side of things. Now I am the classic example of someone that doesn't deal with the heat well and therefor does not make an effort whilst I'm away, and so a few stand out jewellery items are essential.
Canon | The lenses you need in your life
Getting a new camera is always a bit of a complicated ordeal, especially when the camera is a large investment and especially when you're switching between brands for the first time. Back in the summer last year I sadly lost my beloved Nikon D5100 to a wave in Rhodes and I was absolutely heartbroken, but I took this as an opportunity to finally make the switch to canon. Now don't get me wrong Nikon was incredible, but whenever I follow photography accounts or just have a look at peoples work in general they'd always seem to have a Canon so I jumped and made the switch, and in fact haven't looked back since.
The boat of dreams | Foozie Rosé & gin cruise
Ah the boat of dreams, I must admit not quite the titanic but if you're a lover of Rosé or Gin then this little boat would come pretty close. I was fortunately invited on a little boat cruise last week in Bristol as part of one of Foozie UK's events, and I couldn't have been more excited about it. It's a little known fact that I am a great lover of boats, now I'm not 'boat spotter' but I get way more excited about heading out on a rustic little boat than most twenty or so year old's.. and when mixed with some beautiful gin drinks it was just a complete dream.
The travel post that's not quite about the travels..
A foodies dream | The cosy club
The cosy club. A food and cocktail lover’s dream. I must
admit before this trip I’d only visited the cosy club once and I could only
remember my experience very vaguely, so to have a meal set up for me by the
cosy club themselves was extremely exciting, and I just couldn’t wait to see what
the new menus were about! Now due to me always being early for everything in my life,
myself and my love were sat down a little earlier in the most elegant but cosy
corner of the restaurant (a very fitting description). After taking a few
little snaps of all the luxurious glasses and table set ups we were soon
introduced to our lovely waitress for the night that was Olivia.
Rare beauty | Bloggers launch night
The rare
beauty company, the company that I recently discovered through a beauty blogger
night event to celebrate the launch of their site. They focus on collecting
together many small run businesses that specialise in straight to the point
natural beauty products. You would never believe it but the rare beauty company
is the only natural company completely ran by women, which really shocks me..
but makes me love this brand even more, natural ingredients and a bunch of
bad-ass women what more do you want?
Brunching at Beets'N Roots
Now this is a post that is well overdue, the post where I chat about my little blogger brunch experience at the Beets'N Roots cafe in Bristol! I must admit I'm not too into experimental foods, and experimental to me being foods with more than two or three flavours. You could say that I'm a simplistic eater, so whilst I was crazily excited to try out a new food venue I was also a little cautious about it too. So many worries about what if I dont like anything? What if its not for me? But I must be honest I had thoroughly enjoyed my little treat of a lunch (that I am ever so grateful for).
Spring hair care favourites
Ah Here I am again delving into the world of beauty and hair care once more, but this time with a spring hair care favourite's that will be featuring some of my existing hair care products and those that I am planning on buying! Whilst transitioning through to different seasons its crucial to look after your hair and in a sense swap your products round to facilitate and cater to your hair care needs in those months.. And spring can be a rather confusing in terms of what type of care you need so I like to make sure that I have a bit of everything on hand to deal with whatever the weather throws at me!

~ The two ultimate night out must haves ~
The two ultimate night out must haves. When getting ready for a party or a night out the process of doing your make up can be either the highlight of your pre's get ready session or the death of it. Yep I know what you're thinking, sounds like an over reaction but if you love make up then you love makeup.. and don't even get me started on those eyeliner flicks. But the make up can either make or break you, that is why its important to have a special go-to lip product and eye palette to fall back on. If all else goes wrong you can save it all by creating a dramatic eye look or a bold lip (Well it'll certainly distract them from the rest of your face anyway).
~ Home comforts ~
Ah home comforts. we all have them, and they are all different. Whether it be a teddy bear, your favourite mug that you MUST drink your tea out of or even your hair straighteners. Home comforts are things that can be so simple but make being away from home a hell of a lot easier. And that is what today's post is all about, the smallest home comforts that truly make a difference to me. This post is in collaboration with Pretty Ventura and Bliss prints, where they very so kindly gifted me the next few items. Now if mugs, pretty cushions and sassy prints excite you then keep on reading!
Luxury customization - Dedpop London
Dedpop London, a rather unique brand. But who are they? Well Dedpop London are an independent brand based in the East of London. They use bold graphic design and illustrations to create beautiful accessories that stand out. These accessories are things such as phone cases and stickers. Ah words can't describe how happy I am about bold stickers and patches coming back into fashion. A blast from the past but with a twist, to create big iconic statements in the words of Dedpop. Now if you love stickers and standing out then you may just need to keep reading.
The Cuban - #bloggerevent
The Cuban blogger event. I must admit I'm still not entirely sure as to what the intention of this blogging event was, whether it be relaunch of their menu or to just share good food, one thing I do know is that it was a night in collaboration with the app Socialight - long story short this app was created to connect businesses with influencers and vise versa! But either way I was excited, having never been to The Cuban before I was very curious to see what good food they sold and what it was all about! And that is what I did..
Life update & 2018 goals to smash
Well, I am back. My gosh it feels like its been forever since I last blogged, and to be completely honest it has been.. last blog was last year! (Oh yes, I made the new year joke.. Shame, shame, shame). But anyway, I am back and to be quite honest I'm feeling better than ever, you know apart from the weight of exams that have been dragging me down the past month or so. But I really have that cliche feeling that 2018 is going to be a good one. I feel motivated, refreshed & ready for life. Although this is only going to be a very short post here I am, sat here getting ready to tell those of you that might be slightly interested what goals I am ready to smash this year!
