The Merbabe collection - Indy Luxe review

Monday, 31 July 2017

Now I have been extremely excited about these brushes for a good few weeks since Indy Luxe announced that they'd be releasing a new set! And needless to say they did not disappoint by keeping up with the colourful mermaid trends that are all the rage at the moment. Now I've teamed up with Indy Luxe as part of their blogging programme, so before I get into this little post I'm just going to put it out there that you can all receive 20% off on the Indy Luxe website by using the code 'REBECAELEN20'.. right then with the all the little boring bits done, lets get started.

Egosketch - collaboration & review

Sunday, 23 July 2017

About a week or two ago I was approached by the lovely little brand Ego Sketch, now admittedly I'd never heard of them before but I was very excited to do a little research into who they are and what they do.. They're a little company based in the Netherlands, that create phone and tablet cases. Not only do they give you a choice of designs that are available on their site, but they give you the opportunity to put your own mark on them by the power of customisation. (Now before I get stuck in, this is NOT a paid collaboration therefor all opinions & review comments are my own and have not been influenced)

Now when you think of university what are the first things that spring to mind? Parties? Alcohol? Sex, drugs, rock & roll? wow that sounded like a dad joke,  I do apologise. But here’s a first year reflection from myself, one of the maybe two or three percent of students that actually go there for the education.. geek alert, but who cares. I mean yes I did the whole going out every night for a week in freshers but in between that and a few nights out here and there I retired to my bed and opted for slippers and a warm cuppa, or two.. or five. So here’s a reflection looking back on life as a first year from a possible slight different perspective.

Top five primark picks

Thursday, 20 July 2017

Okay so first of all if you are as much of a Primark fan as me then you will definitely know just how much they've stepped up their home-wear game, and to say the least I am loving it! I've been holding back lately as my student budget is running a little low, but today I couldn't take it anymore and HAD to give in!

5 reasons why I love photography and why you should give it a go..

Monday, 17 July 2017

Out of all the hobbies I've ever had I feel that photography has always been the main one that has stuck with me. In the last few months the possibility of an on the side career of photography has become more realistic. There's so much that can be done with a good camera, and lets be honest having photos taken is never going to go out of fashion. Its what keeps memories going and past souls with you.. Its not just a hobby its an art..

Monday strolls bring monday thoughts

Wednesday, 12 July 2017

So today I am doing something a little chatty, something a little personal and in general something simply a little different. This is me writing a post to myself, reflecting on those lessons that I have learnt and those new life goals that I have created, so just a heads up you may want to sit down with a cuppa it may be a bit of a long one (but don’t worry I promise not to share my whole life story, just some of it…)
